Double Asteroceras and Promicroceras

A beautiful restored block found in pieces along Stonebarrow. Many hours of careful restoration have gone into this beautiful ammonite block. The support material on the back has been painted which cannot be seen when displayed as intended. I think I drank a bit too much gin and got carried away with the spray cans, I was intending to go for a matt gray. Still a lovely display piece. Found and prepared by Dan Brownley, size of largest ammonite 120mm approx, smaller Asteroceras approx 40mm, prom, a very respectable 26mm matrix  340mm across.
